Guilsborough gun smuggler.
This blog contains the time plans and work for our media project called the Guilsborough gun smuggler.
The groups time plan was composed by Dom Carson.
Monday 20th: Creating a mock up for the news desk set we used, angles established and camera movements agreed at 2:30 we will also scouted for locations throughout the day to see where best was to film. We will also take a shot of the guilsborough school sign as a sort of title screen.
Tuesday 21st: 10:00 we will make our news desk and use mise en' scene: laptop, papers and mug. Dom will also have a costume of a shirt and tie to show his role in the shot. We will shoot the news desk scene and we plan to have an after school filiming session.
After school we hope to be able to get Mr.Grogans permission to film him and also Mr.Peres.
Mr.Grogan has agreed to play the role of the police officer and Mr. Peres as the suspect e.g "the gun smuggler". After school around 4:00 we hope to be able to film "the on scene reporter" and the actual arrest of the gun smuggler. We will film Rob Bell as the reporter and Mr. Grogan arrives as the Police officer. Mr.Peres hopefully will agree and we wuill be able to film the arrest.
Wednesday 22nd: Editing and uploading our film should begin in todays lesson
we spent lessons editing and we will work to make equal contribution.
Wednesday 5th November: We finished editing and burnt the film to disk.
We each had a go at everything in the filming process. And made equal progress in filming, editing and scene scouting. I filmed the first scenes and suggested that Dom should wear a costume to improve the effect of a news reporter. I directed Mr.Grogan's actions and speech. The editing process began with the shots being uploaded and cut, I cut the first few scenes and hleped he others on how to upload and cut. There also was no real script and we let the actors play the role as they felt they should, some direction was given and were left to film. The storyboards were fowarded to Mrs.Fox.
